Report on the physical method: recent results and publications

Author: Nadica Maltar Strmečki

Description: In the seminar the experimental results obtained on the physical dosimetry method during the first year of the project are presented. The method utilizes a portable mini photo-luminescence (PSL/OSL) reader for the individual dose estimation.
The results presented at several international conferences and published in the paper “Salty crackers as fortuitous dosimeters: a novel PSL method for rapid radiation triage” (Frontiers in Public Health, 2021) are described.
Preliminary results on PSL sensitivity testing of new materials are also presented.
